Event Terms and Conditions
- Event Registration and Participation:
All vendors must complete the registration process to participate in the event.
Certified farmers and food truck vendors must provide proof of valid permits and licenses.
- Booth Assignments:
Booth assignments are at the discretion of Munchyfest and will be communicated in advance.
Vendors are expected to adhere to their assigned locations throughout the duration of the event.
- Set-Up and Breakdown:
Vendors should arrive at the designated set-up time.
Breakdown should only occur after the official closing time of the event.
All vendors are responsible for leaving their designated spaces clean and free of debris.
- Product Quality and Safety:
All products must meet health and safety standards.
Event organizers reserve the right to remove any vendor selling unsafe or inappropriate products.
- Fees and Payments:
All vendor fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.
Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled by the organizer.
- Weather and Force Majeure:
The event will take place rain or shine.
In the case of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the event.
- Promotion and Marketing:
The event organizer may use vendor information and images for promotional purposes.
Vendors are encouraged to promote their participation in the event through their own channels.
- Compliance with Laws:
Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Any violation may result in immediate removal from the event.
- Liability:
The event organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of vendor property.
Vendors are encouraged to have their own insurance coverage.
- Code of Conduct:
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and treat other participants, attendees, and staff with respect.
- Interview and Employment Opportunities:
Vendors agree to provide one hour of interview time to candidates selected by the event organizer prior to the event. This interview may be conducted in person, over the phone, or via video conference.
Vendors further agree to allocate space for at least one person selected from the interviews to participate in the event. The selected individual will represent an opportunity for employment or engagement with the vendor during the event.
Vendors commit to maintaining fair employment practices, including providing compensation at or above the minimum wage, which shall not be less than $20.00 per hour, for any individuals hired or engaged for the event. This commitment applies to the duration of their participation in the event.
By agreeing to these terms, vendors contribute to the event’s broader goals of fostering community engagement and creating employment opportunities for individuals seeking to enhance their skills and contribute to the local economy.
